Stages of Pool Construction
Once your contract has been accepted, your dreams converted into breathtaking design, and all options selected, the construction of your oasis begins. While your backyard is about to undergo a major transformation, we pride ourselves on making the construction as relaxing and unobtrusive as possible for you and your family. Knowing what to expect is key, so we are pleased to provide you with the following step-by-step list of how your pool will be built:
Step One: The pool is marked out and services are located. Now you can actually see how the pool will fit in your backyard!
Step Two: The pool is excavated and work area safety fence installed. Your backyard is now officially a construction site, so please keep your kids safe!
Step Three: The pool is formed and steel rebar structure created. The pool is really starting to take shape now!
Step Four: The concrete trucks arrive, and your shotcrete pool shell is created. Voila! Your pool is born! It’s hard to believe, but this rough grey bathtub is just a few steps away from the sparkling swimming pool you have been dreaming about.
Step Five: The pool forms are stripped and site cleaned up. Now things are starting to look a little more normal.
Step Six: The plumbers arrive to run pool lines to the equipment location. Look at all those pipes!
Step Seven: Tile or slate is applied to the waterline. Ahhh, the first of the finishes goes on, and your pool is already looking beautiful.
Step Eight: The mechanical equipment is installed. This is the stuff that makes your pool go!
Step Nine: The stone coping is installed, and your pool deck can now be created. Can’t you just picture yourself lounging poolside?
Step Ten: Electrical and gas connections are made to the pool equipment. Can we swim yet?! We’re almost there!
Step Eleven: The marbelite finish is applied, and the pool can now be filled with water. Just look at the sunlight shimmering on the water!
Step Twelve: Our professional technicians start your system up and provide you with a customized system explanation. Time to take your first plunge in your new pool! Enjoy!
