COMMUNITY POOL NAMED IN MEMORY OF LOCAL POOL BUILDER
Markham, ON, Canada Tuesday June 19, 2007 -- BonaVista Pools is proud to announce that the New Leaf community residence swimming pool will be named after their founder Bob Brown at the official opening event on Wednesday June 20, 2007. The indoor pool and building were built through generous donations by local suppliers and builders with a value in excess of $2 million dollars.
The therapeutic swimming pool is located on the New Leaf property in the Drake Will residence which is home to thirteen residents who have multiple handicaps and require intensive personal care. The home is equipped with lifts, a therapy area, a therapeutic pool and one of two Snoezelen rooms.
BonaVista Pools was owned by Bob Brown, who passed away in 2002. He was a supporter of the New Leaf pool project from initial discussions that
